EJCC member register

We maintain a register of members’ names and their parents’ home addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers.

We need this information so that we can contact you about tournaments, organise teams, and inform you about any changes to arrangements.

We also ask that you alert us to any relevant medical information, if your child has a condition that may manifest itself while they are in our charge and you are not present.

Your rights

You can ask to see and amend any records we have about you and ask us to delete any records we hold.

Sharing information

This information is stored securely on my home computer and is not shared with anyone else.

Results and games from matches will usually be made public.

ICO registration

EJCC acts as a data controller for the register and as a data processor for results. 

Organisations which only process personal data only for recreational reasons do not have to register with the Information Commissioner’s Office. https://ico.org.uk  

Legitimate Interests Assessment (LIA)

We declare:

• we have a legitimate interest in recording members’ contact details and results;
• we need to process the records to contact members and to choose teams;
• we are using people’s information in ways they would reasonably expect;
• we do not think this offends anyone’s interests, rights or freedoms.
